A little history about Stepladder Studios...
The name 'Stepladder Studios' was conceived by my friend Barth P. in San Francisco CA, some time around 1995 At that time I embarked on the adventure of creating things for a living. In the beginning I focused primarily on jewelry and lamps. I made it a bout 2 years in the San Francisco area before finding my way back to my home state of Michigan. I spent a few years in Michigan making a go at the art fair scene before shifting towards woodworking and signage. I got married and settled down in Blanchard Michigan. Shortly after, I bought a building in town and set up shop. I have been working and growing out of that location for about 12 years now. I currently am busy at work for The Wildlife Gallery, a taxidermy company. For The Wildlife Gallery I create and design animal bases, furniture, and signage for the taxidermy industry.
Over the years I have been blessed with work and opportunity. On this website I have chosen some of my favorite creations to share.
